I moved with my husband and 2 suit-cases from Toronto, Canada and retired in a small Village in Central Italy... where I started painting.. without any formal training. It is something I always wanted to do.. so now I'm just doing it !

Fania Simon
Wow - I can see the hope in her face that the person she is waiting for will come....this image is so deep and sad - waiting for love that will or may never come............! she is in black also suggests that she is moaning the death of love -- yet, spiritually, she believes to reunite with (him or her) one day ( beyond this physical world)!! I love it......f/v
